The Kindness Revolution
This project was based on the movements of cubism and purism. Both aesthetics had utopian aspirations. So in this project, I was tasked with making a design that portrayed my vision of utopia.

I don’t believe Utopia can exist, at least not in the broken world we live in. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t do our best to try. There are massive amounts of corruption in the world: in government, healthcare, business, and the individual. I think that they all stem from the same heart problem though, a lack of empathy and kindness. I made a poster for a fake cause called “Kindness Revolution.” This organization would start out small, just a few people encouraging others to be kind, and teaching people about things like recycling and empathy exercises and meditation. Eventually, they would hopefully grow enough to provide resources for marginalized groups, make change in government through activism, and provide public services. This would be my utopia, a world where people are willing to band together, care for everyone in their community, take care of creation, and change the world without violence or hate.
